What is the floss made of ?
Our floss is about 97% bamboo fibre, blended with about 3% polyester. The small amount of polyester adds strength and helps the floss resist shredding between tight teeth. The thread is infused with bamboo charcoal and coated with plant-based wax.
How long does one spool last, and how long will the 4-pack last me?
Each spool holds 98 ft (30 m) of floss — enough for about 2 months of daily flossing (about 45 cm per use). The 4-pack holds 394 ft (120 m) total, lasting about 8-9 months for one person flossing once a day, or around 4-5 months flossing twice a day.
Which dispensers does it fit, and how do I load it?
Fits standard glass, stainless steel and bamboo floss dispensers (spool 1.5 in diameter).
Is it gentle enough for sensitive gums?
Our floss is woven thin to slide easily between teeth without excessive pressure on the gumline. That said, if you have very sensitive gums, start with gentle motion and check with your dentist, any floss works best with the right technique.
Does the mint flavour last, or does it fade after a few days?
Our floss is infused with natural mint at the factory. Natural mint fades faster than synthetic flavoring, this is normal. Store unopened spools in a cool, dry place. The floss remains effective after the mint taste lightens.
